It’s a little slow. I think I’m starting to get to the meat of the story but I’m struggling to want to pick it up.

There’s a lot happening but also nothing all at the same time. Also Xaden’s mom is a bitch.

Brother this book is slow. And the few turns there are.. I hate.

I’m losing faith that good things will happen to Xaden. Unfortunately I think ole boy is going to get lost in the sauce.

I’m bored. This book has no action and no interest. Just a lot of searching. And not in a fun way.

It’s very childish so far. Caden’s jealousy is just so out of no where.

Well I’m stumped. At first I was thinking it was a set up. Now I think she has some type of mental illness - like schizophrenia. Maybe she confused Gabriel for someone else. Attacked him like a stranger in her manic state and then realized she killed her husband. Guilt is keeping her from speaking.

I’m starting to wonder if all these people are in her head. Or at least some of them.

We’re going. There are a lot of people who would want Gabriel dead. His brother is jealous of him. Jean-Felix is envious of Alicia. Paul is in trouble because of Gambling debt. Lydia hates Alicia but I doubt she did it.

I still don’t understand the weed stories. Or how Kathy ties into the larger story other to show the therapist is also damaged?

It’s getting better. We’re picking up speed but I thought this would be more psychological than murder mystery/whodunit.

Some of this is boring. What was the point of the long ass back story about smoking weed. And idk why Kathy made him stop.

Kind of slow so far. The diary chapters aren’t true diary entries. They’re like flashbacks to moments. Idk if I like that or not.
