我讀完了關於愛欲的那一章（這本書的倒數第二章）。這確實是個敏感的話題，但也很有趣。隨著我們逐漸成熟，討論這個問題很重要。路易斯對愛欲的定義有所不同。在他看來，愛欲並非對性的渴望（他稱之為維納斯）。相反，愛欲是指深深地愛著某人，以至於性都變得無關緊要。

基督教對這個問題的看法很有趣。

我認為區分浪漫的愛和慾望很重要。我寫這篇文章時可能和我的祖父母的觀點有些相似，但我認為這個世界充滿了慾望。當有人用淫念注視他人時，這是對他人尊嚴的侮辱。耶穌說，當一個人用淫念注視他人時，他就犯了姦淫 (Mt 5:28)

慾望會把人貶低到性玩具的程度。我希望隨著我們逐漸成熟，我們能夠學習從心中摒棄這種慾望。

Now that the summer is here, and I don’t think my friends will be available, I think I’ll spend it in front of a desk, a stack of books, some paper, and a pen.

Mother Teresa is such a role model. She poured so much of herself as a Missionary of Charity in Calcutta. Absolutely love this book, because it shows a part of her life that she has never shown before...sometimes she feels disconnected from God or distanced from him. I feel that way too sometimes.
