oughhhh chapter 25 what a doozy… a lot to unpack here and i might honestly reread some passages but this definitely a lot closer to kafka on the shore in terms of weird metaphysical subjects that make your head spin, except maybe a bit more explained

having lots of fun with this one !

so refreshing to see that murakami style i came to love back in this after hear the wind sing. read almost the entire word count of hear the wind sing in two days it’s so much easier to get through. reminds me of kafka on the shore with how it’s structured, and i can feel myself slowly being drawn into the stories, each with their own intersecting ideas. lots of fun

surprised at how much i just don’t really like this. i feel like there are two crowds of people like read this book: half say “beauty in simplicity” and the other half are bored (I’m the latter)

jacob elordi as heathcliff might be the worst casting ever and the movie isn’t even out
