I also wanna make a note about how much I appreciate how conners internalized homophobia is portrayed with how he actively supports the lgbtq but just feels that inner ick without poking fun at minorities or downplaying being queer. not like rowans in sweat at all.

I loveeeee me a good slow burn. I love Dane so much. It’s been a minute since I’ve felt proper attachment to a character. I don’t know why I didn’t get this giddy about tommy and rowan but I think thats because im not much a smut guy, fluff always.

after not having like sweat that much, I didn’t expect to pick this one up too be honest, but yeah no this ones way better. I love how honest Dane is with Conner and Conners genuine curiosity about Dane is really sweet.

I think this is a great introduction to how the mc thinks, clearly highlighting the progression of his nihilistic approach to life.
