OBSESSED - forgot about my crush on Jason Todd and the fact that my Spotify account is in fact named after him ahhhhhhhhh

Forgot to update my current process - still a great book with characters that are beautifully complex and engaging

ein bisschen etwas, um aus meinem alltagsschreck zu kommen - bin gespannt, was ich dabei lerne

Very inspirational book - I feel immensely inspired by bell hooks words and try to incorporate her thoughts and experiences (especially in regards to her teaching practices) into my own life.

Started to read the novel today (after having it in my bookshelf for about three years haha) and kinda forgot why I initially bought it. So I went into it completely unprepared and was immediately hooked.

This book makes my heart melt but also feel many things that I can relate to. The characters are complex and beautifully written (holy frick) and I can’t wait for it to continue haha

Bought the English version to get acquainted with a Vietnamese author and am super excited to read this novel

It’s okayyyy - I definitely liked the first one but the sequel of „Ein ganzes halbes Jahr“ was hard for me to read. There are so many things happening that I wouldn’t have expected to happen.

Putting it on a break for now - maybe I’ll pick it up again haha

It’s okay so far - kinda feels like reading a diary entry or a very personal memoir. Although it’s supposed to be telling the reader about the protagonist’s father - we get to know her very personal thoughts and impressions of growing up in the country side and all the hardships her father in particular had to endure.

It’s somehow a slow-read and I’m sometimes catching myself drifting off to other things

Holding back my tears as I’m sitting in a train, but the chapter ‚husband and wife‘ made me choke on its beauty. Btw Alzheimer’s a bitch

Good, makes me rethink my every day life and what impact my decisions have on not only my future but also the future of the people I’m interacting with
