Russell is 3% done with The Natural History of Crime: Case studies in death and the clues nature leaves behind
I am barely through the introduction and this person just tried to tell me statistics is too advanced for juries, barristers, and judges to understand in a trial. No wonder the majority of reviews are about how far up this author is up their own ass

Ugh, the Commonwealth is the most thinly veiled cold war anti-communist propaganda I've seen in a long time

For a book on opening your mind to seeing the mundane differently, the author certainly chimes in judgementally often enough during these walks

Russell is on page 96 of 136 of Notes from Underground
The initial rambling and debate the narrator had with himself was enjoyable introspection; this second half is apparently just the narrator striving to shove his foot as far into his mouth as possible in every possible social setting.

Russell is on page 57 of 272 of The Modern Mercenary: Private Armies and What They Mean for World Order
Every page of this book is just "Mercenaries are necessary because they're better trained than some hypothetical farmer and they don't even commit atrocities that often because it would affect their profits. Also they make it easier for governments to wage unpopular wars since they don't have the same oversight" and on none of the pages are reasons why anyone would want this (unless you're the one being paid I guess)
