This was not a book on my radar. I saw the hype, I heard it, and was fine not reading it.

This is where I am grateful for the book club I participate in!

I thoroughly enjoyed this one. I would almost say I loved it. The story was wholesome and full of heart. Tova was so considerate and thoughtful..even after all she had been through. And let’s be real, who wouldn’t love a fictional octopus named Marcellus!

There were parts that seemed to drag, but that also could have been me. However, the last third of the book was perfection. I can’t wait to see where this story goes….seriously.
