it's so funny to me that nora said she made up a new sport because "she didn't want to learn about a real sport she just wanted to write about guys kissing" and then spends the entire series focusing on this sport and the serial killer and mafia plotline and then they kiss like maybe two times in the third book. amazing. no notes. this is how books are meant to be written.

neil's narration is so funny because he's either so oblivious or just does noooot care about anyone but andrew. he focuses on like the smallest shift in andrews behavior and then says that kevin is there and that's it. also he claims to hate andrew and meanwhile will not stfu about his honey brown eyes and his shoulders and whatever. girl focus on the task at hand here we're talking about your dad who kills people

reading 4 school

just added all the heated rivalry books to my tbr but now i'm embarassed so i'm trying to balance it out by adding a bunch of serious theory books (that i am also still interested in dw)

so this is heated rivalry if shanes dad killed people and ilya was an alcoholic and also a psychopath. amazing no notes i'm very excited

what is even going on this book is so weird 😭 neil was talking about himself and i was thinking "hmm he reminds me of ilya rozanov lowkey" and then one sentence later he was like "by the way my dad kills people. yea just like chops them up into little pieces. that's why i can't play this made up sport called exy" girl WHAT are you talking about. hello???

everything i've heard about this book is that it's kind of bad but it's the most entertaining book that they've ever read. so i'm hyped
