i’m debating dnfing this one. it’s not the worst i read but holy shit it is so boring to me, and the writing isn’t particularly superb either. It feels like it’s meant to be deep, but it’s just not. i’ll try to stick with it but idk how much longer i can hold out on it

i wasn’t expecting to be laughing at this book but y’know this author surprises me like this sometimes. i’m reading “circe” by madeline miller rn. circe is borrowing the clothes of polydamas to disguise herself, but mf daedalus is like “you don’t look like a man.”

this girl 😭 she spit out the roast of the century. she says “i’m not meant to look like a man, i’m meant to look like my brother.”
