I didn’t hate it, didn’t love it. It felt over the top as a whole. I listened to the audiobook and my thoughts are this: Reese’s narration was over-acted, not everything needs to be overly described, and for the love of audiobooks please just use a beep sound instead of saying “beep”.
As Reese’s first novel, it was a “page-turner”, but this could have been a series instead of crammed into one book.
