I'd like to know what kind of drug exists in stories where a person has to excel in an academic setting that makes my brain absorb every single word as a sponge absorbs water

this is for sure taking its time to get to the academy part, but I'm having fun anyway. I'm used to the first book in a fantasy series being introductory and having a slow beginning, so I don't mind the pace. getting to the 20% mark took its time, but i read the last 5% so quickly in comparison that i can feel it picking up the pace.

nobody told me there would be children here!!! the only option now is loving the heck out of this book 🤷 i'm a simple girlie
