I'm in love with the way Lo writes about Lily's discovery and exploration of her own desires. It feels so real to my own experience. I'm soooo excited to see where this goes

It’s so interesting to me how awesomely the writer is able to capture and over lap Lily’s queerness and Chinese-American identity. You see parallels and overlaps in pretty much every aspect of this book (so far) and it is super cool…

“Nicer in Hindi” was so so sweet and profound. Even as someone who has no experience growing up bilingual or being fluent in any other languages I feel like it’s easy to find yourself in this if you’ve ever had any kind of experience grappling with belonging to multiple cultures or even just defining yourself in a world where we constantly are using fronts. I wanna say more but word limit… AHHH rly good
