I don’t know if I’ll ever finish this book. It’s been like a month and I just struggggggle to get back to it. It’s fine - there’s nothing bad about it. I just don’t care. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don’t understand. He touches her and suddenly she’s in heat again? But….how? I mean, sure, I guess? But, weird.

Ummm, this is so boring. Right? I know some people have said this is their least favorite but I’m not sure if it’s because they also find it super boring.

I don’t understand - are we supposed to like Mor enough to tolerate an entire chapter in her POV? Girlfriend has been leading Azriel on for FIVE HUNDRED YEARS! That is unredeemable. I care not what she cares or feels.

I’ve never heard these narrators (Kasi Holloway and James Cassidy) before, and so far, they’re fantastic.

This is a weird combo. I’m bored, delighted, and exasperated all at once. I’m gonna keep going, and hope the humor and sexual tension better overshadows the stupid stuff

Y’all, I knew this book would be silly, but I still underestimated Meghan Quinn’s capacity for ridiculousness 😂

After finding out she’s his mate Serena clumsily asks Koen on a date to see how things go. He replies, “I meant what I said, Killer. This mate thing is about fucking. The part of me that matters isn’t interested in you. Like me, or don’t.”

Wow, Ali is really driving home early the message that Koen is a DICK

I don’t think I read the blurb on this one that carefully because I was surprised by how 👀smutty it is. I’m not complaining by any means. But this is definitely 4.5 🌶️ spice wise.

Is it weird that I’m nervous to start this audiobook, not because of the content itself, but because of how hyped it is?

I’m thoroughly enjoying this book! The audio is superb and I’m loooooving the sexual tension between Grant and Laney. 😮‍💨

Okay, but the MMC repeatedly saying in his internal thoughts what an asshole he is doesn’t help the fact that he continues to be a sexist asshole. He literally thinks at one point that his only options for how to act around her are to be an asshole to her or seduce her. Umm, sir, there’s also the third option: allow her to do the job for which she is qualified, despite having t*ts and a v*gina. FFS. 🙄

I originally decided to DNF this but I’m too annoyed by having already spent 10 hours on it to not finish it. So I’m forging ahead.

This is stressful. 🥴
