Meh. The writing is very weird and I’m having a hard time following it. Feels very much like this book was written by a teenager. Also not enjoying the middle school-esque bullying from all the adults in this book. This may go back on my DNF shelf….

The book is good so far. I really like the depth in the characters and the alternating timeline. I do wish there was more of a signal when POV changes occur and when the main character is speaking to someone alive vs dead. It can get a bit confusing at times.
