This book is terrifying

This book has potential but the writing feels a little elementary even for a “vibes “ book. I just feel like some of the world building is lazy

AHHH! This book!!! So much YEARNING AND BETRAYAL AND SCHEMing, and HIGH STAKES. I must read 150 pages tonight I simply cannot rest!!!!!!!!!

Look, it’s really bothering me how they’re using a mix of modern language and fantasy/mythical dialect/naming conventions etc. I can’t be immersed in a world (a well built one) if the F word and modern slang is used.
