I've worked in certain environments too long, that reading this book is causing me pain because it's so comprehensive oof.

The language, despite listening routinely to books from this time period which do use said language, is making my brain feel fried. So putting this on hold for a wee bit whilst I figure out how to digest it.

Are there any decent audiobooks on Youtube that I haven't read yet/watched/listened to please? I would like fantasy/classic literature/ horror recommendations if possible please xx just to listen to whilst I play my video games.

Someone tell me it is okay to write in a book I own so I continue reading this. I have so much I want to say but I need justification. HELP

4 months in and I've completed my goal of reading 300 books. I guess the only thing to do is just continue reading and having fun. I - I'm not even going to change it like I did last year. I rather enjoy the art of reading. Let's leave it at that.

The way russians have described things compared to British classical literature, I honestly prefer the weird ways things are phrased when translated from Russian to English.

I have memory issues, and partial amnesia. It's 2026, and despite reading to page 50 the lore, it still isn't sticking. But despite the fact my brain keeps resetting on the lore and can't hold the infomation on the game, I am glad I own a book I can go back to, read and enjoy. I loved the game then, I cannot express my appreciation for this book. It's pretty packed too with infomation. Essay/Bible like.

30 pages in and I'm only on page 5 make it make sense.

Anyway; this is a stunning comprehensive study of darks ouls which includes references to all in game dialogue, items, narration etc, and in the columns next to the text, links (via number) the corresponding in game item, equipment, narrator, npc etc. We even have chemical explanations too. This is what we wanted From software but never got.

there is like 15 pages of preface, disclosures, gameplay vs lore. Before a page 1. Be wary.
