Yes I’m reading the trilogy again immediately after finishing Nona. And I’m still picking up new details each time.

Can’t do it. I was really looking forward to this, but I just completely bounced off of it.

I am determined to finish, but it's not light reading. Combine the fact that it deals with climate problems in our very near future, which is a lot to take in, with the fact that the book is more a collection of scientific snippets than a story, and it makes for a very slow read. Full of interesting ideas, to be sure, but bar a couple of characters we return to now and then, it's not your average A plot/B plot story.

I think my brain chemistry is finally balanced enough to sustain reading. At 79% in, I'm going to call it. I _will_ finish this book. :D

Time for a reread before I read Harrow the Ninth!

Let’s see if I can squeeze this in before S.A. Chakraborty’s new book arrives on my Kindle in a few days.

Not sure where this is going. Bizarre stuff so far. The blurb that got me to read this was “ combines elements of The Handmaid's Tale, Stranger Things, and Twin Peaks.” I’m not getting that feel, though.

Whew, this is a tougher slog than I was looking for. The first half of the book, focusing more on the post-truth world of the internet, was appealing. But the fact that this is more a story of ideas than people means there are long sections that might be necessary to build up to the next part, but are not capturing my attention in and of themselves. Still, I'll stick it out to see where we end up.

Damn but this one starts off with a bang. A creepy one, at that. :)
