Reading the second chapter of Li Juan’s The Corner of Altay, A Snow Hare Only Twenty Centimetres from Spring; listening to There’s a Moon out Tonight by The Capris; drinking Yunnan’s rose Pu-erh tea, with two cats curled up beside me; imagining the early snow gently covering the summer pasture on the first page. The cover is a refreshing green of summer, the text is simple and comforting. Life is beautiful.

I can finish this book. I will.

“Physics has never existed and will never exist.” This sci-fi book’s proper gripping, it is. Once you crack it open and dive into the first line, you're hooked, can't put it down. And yeah, that Hugo Award really does deserve to go to this series, no doubt about it. If you’re keen on keeping your sleep intact, best steer clear of this book.
