I fucking knew it! I knew this would happen!

I am only half way through this and I honestly have no idea what else can happen from here??? There has been so much thats happened already??? What more can they possibly find out???!?!?!

I wasnt expecting much with this, I loaned it from the library on a whim, but ooooooooOoooooo is this itching a good itch in my brain. Colonial time period. Murder mystery. Female rage. Chefs kiss, beautiful work of art so far.

I have a little over 50 pages left. Im at such a cute, heartwarming part. But it makes me so scared. There's a second book. That means it won't last, I just know it. I feel it in my bones.

Im too scared to keep reading. Im at work, and I can read at work, but I dont want to cry at work. I need to be able to cry in peace at home.

Im crying, im crying so much. I havent cried for the past 11 books ive read and then this one hits me like train. Holy shit dude.

Only 2 chapters in and I am HOOKED. Girl the world building has been so good. And the backgrounds of both main characters were so well written.

I am absolutely loving this book
