I found this in a library while traveling and enjoyed reading it. My local library does not have a copy, but I want to come back to this. Fantasy elements so far.

Started this and enjoyed it, but heavier subject matter, so will need to revisit.

I've read the first 4 stories and believe they are brillant.

"We don't have to know each other to show each other love."

The section on numbing is so honest. Really enjoyable listen.

"..her freckles looked like stars scattered across her skin." (Chapter 6)

"Humans took up so much space, and it was always so nice to feel the space springing back when they went away."

"Even when the truth isn't hopeful, the telling of it is." (107)

I love this book so far. Gorgeously & truthfully written. Relevant and life-giving.
