Yinka is so annoying that I can’t tell if I don’t want things to go her way as a punishment or if I do want things to go her way just so she’ll stop complaining.

So many surprises

I don’t love Linus Baker as a character — he’s rather annoying. But I do love the setting and premise.

This book is legitimately terrible and idk if I’ll be able to finish it.

I’ve missed historical fiction and this one is such an easy read.

Reading as an audiobook is so fun! The voice and characterisation of Cara is amazing!

So far it’s very cute and cozy and really enjoyable and easy to read

Thoughtful and enlightening. It’s so much more than it was billed to be.

So far it’s good but the first 100-120 pages were the best. It’s starting to fade in its interest for me.

Very creative and enjoyable. Wish there was more of a plot driven narrative.

So far very fun, exactly as I expected.

I’m really enjoying this so far and the mystery is finally starting to unravel.

I can’t say I’m really enjoying it.
