i used to write dramatic shit like this when i was twelve.

it’s really unfortunate that in the movie one of the biggest details was missed: the house of lisbon family. through the entire book it changes, basically reflecting the state of people living inside of it. i love those descriptions so much, even when they’re quite heartbreaking.
