I'm going to have to put this on hold. Words I never expected to say about a CM book. But these two people are frustrating me and aside from the foodie stuff I am not being drawn in and it's dragging for me. I've tried a number of times to put it down and come back. I may DNF if audio doesn't work. We'll see.

I'm so frustrated. I was loving this audiobook. But for whatever reason my netgalley app corrupted halfway through. I can't listen to this or any of my other books. I deleted and re-installed but that did't fix it. And of course only my recent books are available now.

Amazon getting rid of the text-to-speech feature and replacing it with the assistive reader, which doesn't work for Netgalley arcs, really impacted my reading from April through this month. I had to switch my arcs from them to my iPad and phone. But the read-out-loud feature on the Netgalley app doesn't work for Harlequin books so that's another wrench that means I can only use the iPad for them. Meneiere's changes!

This will be my first Protection read that's not audio. I tried to wait but I need to read this and Mine to Shelter to be ready for Mine to Shield. Oh, well I will just get to listen to the whole series again from beginning when they come out.
