She'd remember it because, for the first time in her life, she'd done something she didn't want to do because she loved the person who wanted to do it and it felt 100 percent right. Even when he'd sprung it on her, she hadn't gotten angry or offended. She hadn't felt out of control. She'd felt loved, respected and understood. It was possible.

Thought my book club for this was in a month and it's actually next week whoops

Rereading for book club. I love this series and revisiting the first book has been a treat.

Re-reading for a book club. I'd forgotten how much I like this book.

Took me long enough to get around to reading this. Been on my to read list for a very, very long time.

This book looks lovely and I like the recipes so far, but I'm concerned about accuracy. One page says "see page XXX" for a reference to something else in the book. Literally just the letter X three times, they never went back and edited the number in. There are other typos too and it makes me worry if the recipes are accurate.
