Pages 40 through 44 are NOT for the squeamish

Bought it for the memes, staying for the plot that is actually very well written and emotionally grabbing. I’m not even that far in and I’m already feeling for little Myyah.

Really dragged at the start. I haven’t touched it for almost a year. Things are starting to get interesting now and it’s keeping my attention

DNF after getting to the end of chapter 20. It’s just the hunger games in a different font and it feels like all the focus is on Pae, Kai, and Kitt. We know little to nothing about the other characters, the enemies to lovers development feels forced and poorly paced. Paedyn has the likability of a smelly shoe and Kai doesn’t know how to regulate his big boy feelings in a healthy way. Not my cup of tea.
