PLEASE be kidding me right now. Not only is Lady Macbeth not going mad like Shakespeare's original story intended, she is observing another woman struggle with mental health and is looking down upon her. Wow.

so far I'm loving how gothic the setting is, that constantly feeling of dread while reading and rich, detailed description of the family's property and their past is amazing

such a pretty writing style!! the book is difficult to put down
