I was just thinking the narration of this book sometimes loses itself and the writing is a bit heavy (there are a lot of extra details that do not seem to be useful for the story) but all is forgiven with the mouth scene -

Really enjoying the exploration of PTSD. The only thing I'm disliking at the moment is the way the book needs to remark every two pages how big the protagonist is and how small tiny pocket sized Rich's old friend, Liam, and in less measure Basil are.
