Goodbye Goodreads, Hello Fable

Might quit this book, despite disliking DNF. It’s dated, but other (even older) classics manage not to be as offensive. I enjoyed the beginning with Ish and his dog, but the current focus on his masculinity and rebuilding civilization with His Woman is off-putting. Also, the rush for relationships post-incident is strange. Just finished Part One; I’ll give it another chapter to earn back my interest.

I promised my son I’d read this. Here we go!

This is one of those books that'll take me forever to read, but will make me feel smarter having read it. It's… just… don't read it if you're easily offended or if you don't have a (dry) sense of humor.

Good, but not timeless. ;) Take it with a grain of salt, and be ready to disagree with some of her statements. She'd welcome the challenge.
