Off to a good start! Really cool alien novel about astronauts on the moon who don’t follow protocol, and end up getting killed and their identities stolen by this parasitic creature

The first short story in this book was “MS. Found In A Bottle”. So far, the illustrations have been my favorite part of this book. This first story painted a really clear picture of certain scenes, but I really could not figure out what it was about. I think maybe it’s about landing on some ghost ship that’s plunging into the sea? No idea tbh

So far, I’m really enjoying this book. I’ve read one other book by this author that read in a very similar way. It’s a little hard to remember everyone’s names, but that could be because I’m still pretty early on in the book.

I know who the main players are, and the main storyline is beginning to reveal itself.

So far so good. The main character, Duff, apparently has supreme rizz. They just encountered some inbred outlaws. Things are starting to get interesting.

So far so good. The premise so far is that there was a big earthquake that caused an avalanche and. Loses off “Thunder Canyon”.

It seems Duff MacCallister is the main protagonist. A Scottish, hard-nosed man who is traveling to the canyon to see it for himself. So far, that’s all that’s really happened.
