the development of Stoner and Edith's relationship made me physically sick to read. i felt nauseous reading about Edith's obvious calls for help and all the ways Stoner ignored them (not to imply that either one of them is in the right here - i feel bad for both of them)

almost done with this and i just already know that i'm going to need a couple of days to process what i've read before i'm coherent enough to write a review. what a book

I am having such a hard time putting this book down, lol
