Can I just rate this 5 stars already?

This story almost feels too big to read

Oh, this is going to be devastating, isn’t it?

Gus & January are grown adults? I am presenting this as a question because beyond the drinking, you would never be able to guess based on their dialogue, interactions, or communication skills.

Looking at shooting stars and saying, “Relatable” transports me back to my 13 year old self trying to be quirky at summer camp

I have extremely high hopes for this book and I fear that will entirely ruin it for me

I am more invested in their stories as authors than their romance

The chemistry just isn’t there

The main character’s name being ‘January’ is a little rough

I get the reference to the song or whatever but…Henry couldn’t pick anything else?

The bookclub chapter is easily one of my favorites

Didn’t really make sense that it was acknowledged that Sydney is the architect of Cate Kay’s privacy, but when Cass left Sydney, basically nothing was done logistically ?? Does Cass now have complete autonomy over Cate Kay? Or is Sydney still the gatekeeper?

I think I missed a memo. Why are all the women in this book attracted to each other? Can a lesbian not have a platonic relationship?

I must admit, my opinion has changed. The characters have considerable depth while the story maintains a casual lightness

Still only about 3.5/5 stars for me (as of now)

It is an easy read and nothing profound, but I am enjoying its simplicity

I must admit, there is a skill to being able to write first-person POVs in a way that distinguishes their voice.
I can’t decide if I like the writing style of this book. The first 50 pages were hard to get through.
I am becoming more interested as the story develops. Though, Cate Kay becoming a sensation between 2000-2006 is a bit unrealistic as a debut author, but I’ll humor the possibility

Coriolanus is becoming an increasingly unlikable Capitol troll…..the hope I had for him until part II and the way I still tried to hold out hope until part III wherein I have come to terms that he is just a piece of shit
