It must be a Lorelei James record. No sex in the first three quarters of a book?? Someone had to dare her she couldn’t write a mostly tame story!!

Not super thrilled with this then and now thing but at least the story caught up. Now is Holland really going to wonder why he’s so angry????

Dear word. What is all the hype on this one???? It’s cringe-worthy at times. Please say it gets better.

Soooooo at 40% I dislike the heroine. Feel bad for the “Ex-hero” (is there a better term??) And the lead who is meant to be the love interest has not one redeeming quality. I’m not sure I can continue this.....

I’m struggling to feel these two. Rare for an AM book to not grab me. But I’m more annoyed with the characters than endeared by them.

Reading a book because you feel bad to abandon a series this far in just sucks. Probably not the best way to end a year of reading :(
This series just has not been the same in a long time.
