It’s taken me a LONG time to finally start reading this but I’m SO glad that I have as it’s really well written and the dynamic between the headless horseman and Emeline is AMAZING. Cannot wait to see what happens and how it ends!

I have often found myself attaching myself to this particular this book over the course of my four-and-twenty years of life that I dare say I know the true depth of each man and woman’s character as if they were my own and I daresay that I love each and every one fiercely and without question.

So far, I’m really liking this enjoying this retelling of Dracula. I like how he is never given the name Dracula, or any name at all, but you can immediately recognise that it is him.

And I love how this book will be about all three brides but the first part seems to focus solely on her time alone with him, allowing us more than just a glimpse into their time together. Really enjoying it so far!

God I hate President Snow but I LOVE Effie’s introduction! She’s so funny even when she’s being ridiculous or rude 😂

Oooh, I cannot tell you how much I hate seeing what horrors previous victors and fan favourites from the original trilogy endured. Weirdly, I like having this look into the other victors’ games and seeing how innocent they were before Snow ruined them. I dread reading what happens to Haymitch, knowing how his story ends.
