I have been wanting to re-read this forever since I will be reading the Wicked series (and the Dorothy Must Die series) for the first time this year. I always loved this book but hated the original movie as a kid because the wicked witch was sooooo scary!

Also, I didn’t like her before but I LOVE Nesta now!!!

THEY FINALLY KISSED!!!!!

Whyyyyy do I love Feyre and Tamlin so much when I know what’s gonna happen?!?! 😭

I LOVE Tamlin and Lucien—they’re such sweethearts hidden beneath all that muscle, sarcasm and intimidation.

BUT WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO KISS, GODDAMN IT! I know what happens—thank you BookTok for spoiling it—but I STILL WANT THEM TO BE TOGETHER!!!

Oooh, it’s starting! The feelings are coming along—too bad I already had it spoilt who she ends up with but who cares?

Plus, am I the only one who LOVES Lucien? He’s such a comedic (and cute) genius yet still such a dick! 😂

It’s taken me a LONG time to finally start reading this but I’m SO glad that I have as it’s really well written and the dynamic between the headless horseman and Emeline is AMAZING. Cannot wait to see what happens and how it ends!

I have often found myself attaching myself to this particular this book over the course of my four-and-twenty years of life that I dare say I know the true depth of each man and woman’s character as if they were my own and I daresay that I love each and every one fiercely and without question.

So far, I’m really liking this enjoying this retelling of Dracula. I like how he is never given the name Dracula, or any name at all, but you can immediately recognise that it is him.

And I love how this book will be about all three brides but the first part seems to focus solely on her time alone with him, allowing us more than just a glimpse into their time together. Really enjoying it so far!
