The audiobook is super fun (fantastic VA!!) but it’s not really doing it for me so far :/ I would rather consume this type of content/storyline as an actual game not really thru a book

Sigh a lot of these essays are really just glorified op-eds that lack the depth I’m looking for. Most can be summarized into a sentence or two

It took a little bit but I’m so invested I hope the ending hits. Plot is exploring the importance of staying, remembering, and living slowly in a post-apocalyptic San Francisco. And wow? It’s resonating with me esp since it’s also so big on the Asian American + immigrant experience and reconnecting with art after burn out
