The writing in this book is beautiful. As I listen to the audio book, now, along with the ARC copy I am reading, I feel like I am participating in Seren’s life through her eyes. The descriptions of the Hollow and the people there are artistic and almost tangible. I already know this series will be the death of me.

I’m in chapter 1, and it’s already screaming A Cinderella Story (2004) with Hilary Duff and Chad Michael Murray. The dialogue is similar “I can’t go to work, I have to study before class” and “skipping a couple steps” down to the sunbathing with fruit over the eyes. I’m gonna keep going, but it’s not looking great

I’m only 11% in and I feel like so much is going on!

I don’t know that this book was needed tbh. My thoughts from 49% (reading after book 4) the only real information we’re getting at this point is that Darius and Orion have been fighting nymphs in their spare time and that they both think the girls are sirens as a way of writing off the star bonds they have. Hopefully it’ll pick up in the second half
