I hate that I have to sleep. This is such a fun read so far! It has a vibe of funny Hunger games meets Ready Player One meets Guardians of the Galaxy. Not like any plot I’ve ever read, so I’m locked in!

Ohhhhhh did I see this plot twist coming? yes. Am I still eating this story up? Absolutely.

Oh, I’m thoroughly enjoying this. Very nicely paced, good little twists, and the story itself is fun and has me wondering what’s going to happen next.

I think I like this more than 4th Wing? Or definitely on par with it.

Very similar to Fourth Wing, but I’m hooked.

Soooo good.

Soooooo I’m very on the fence. I think I like this book, but I also think I want to slap Mare. She’s growing on me a little bit, but I do roll my eyes at half of her thoughts. The plot is good, but I feel like some of the settings/storylines need more details.

Mare is making me punch air with her hypocrisy and stubborn nature. Also, idk if today’s romantasy books blatantly spell out romantic tension, but I cannot decipher what emotions are going on between mare/cal, mare/maven, and mare/kilorn. Like does she like them or do they like her or am I wanting too much out of this book? lol

For someone who hates being judged for her birth status, Mare is the most judgmental brat. Not her biggest fan.

But, the storyline is good. Hoping the plot gets more exciting soon.
