Um… so, maybe this will be the first Fields book that doesn’t quite do it for me

Fields has a talent of writing blushing, yearning and tortured MMCs that are also ruthless and morally grey 😍 But why must they all have long girly hair?

Gross. When I cringe at the MMCs words after they do it, and the relationship doesn’t feel earned, I’m out. Which is a bummer because this had so much potential. Wish I could get back all the time I spent reading the first half of this.
