Ok I’m calling it. I tried. It started out so strong, but I feel like everything just devolved into smut and nonsense…I love me some spice, but they had no chemistry otherwise. It just felt pointless, and the plot was nonexistent. Maybe the end would make it worthwhile but I don’t care enough anymore

Gross. When I cringe at the MMCs words after they do it, and the relationship doesn’t feel earned, I’m out. Which is a bummer because this had so much potential. Wish I could get back all the time I spent reading the first half of this.
