I was enjoying this book, but alas someone requested it at the library so I returned it. I will get back to it. Since it is a book you read over and over, it’s easy to fall back into.

Giving up after 200 pages.
Not bad, but too many orher books call.

Now that I have made some progress I really appreciate what I am reading. Jill Lepore does not refrain from discussing our nation’s failures especially related to slavery or those without power such as the Native Americans, Chinese, and women. I like a sharp look at failures as that is where we can find success. Unfortunately I do find personal change an easier road to right compared to a country’s history.
