Just when I thought Frankie’s story couldn’t get ANY sadder, it does.

Whew. This book is good but the hits just keep coming for this very likable strong fmc.

It’s alright so far. Cool idea, but I’m having a hard time getting into it. Book club pick so I feel like I need to read it now versus the other books I would rather finish.

Listening to the narrator read redacted documents was a low point of the audiobook.

Mood is ready to be done. Best part is the video game with people becoming pieces of leather.

So I was all ready to not read anything serious then Libby reminded me this book was due soon.

I vacillate between having no clue wtf is happening then enjoying the suspense and plot development.

This is not a background book, needs 100% laser focus.

Interesting ideas but damn I just need a few weeks of puff pastry literature.

Interesting novel, utterly depressing, I appreciate the reverence for the natural world, the exploration of new planets, understanding a child with autism, and a vegan as a character to aspire to versus being the joke.

I try to give a new cozy series at least two books and this one is confirming it’s not the series for me

The one dimensional portrayal of women is so dated. Despite not being a very old book. Every woman is appreciate for her “fine looks,” sex acts, or is a dumb city slicker trying to protect bears.

the narrator on the audiobooks really distracts wish I could’ve gotten the e book on this one too

38% and I’m so bored. This effort to read more classic works has felt like an effort. Hearing all about the minutia of Bruno and Guy’s lives is supposed to build tension after the murder but is just boring.

lol 28 hour audiobook seems excessive

not sold on this couple yet, I keep hoping this will branch off into two new love stories with people they both meet at the singles mixers but alas that does not seem to be the plan

I want someone to make a lazy version of this- super healthy recipes for people who want to spend <10 mins making a meal.
