it's already pretty dramatic with the "I made mistake then grovel then repeat" imo

I don't think I'm in the right mood to read this book, it's kinda feel fluffy for me since I feel Liv forgive Finn pretty fast considering she thought she hates him for 12 years. I guess I expected more angst or groveling scene? it Finn doesn't grovel.. or maybe he did a little but I don't count it as grovel.

I'm contemplating to drop this book, I don't think this book gonna work for me. I dislike Emmet and as the story progress my interest is declining.

why do we still have Kyle again?? can he just be sent to prison??

Jeni's trauma make her selfish. I get it the concept of compromising is scary when someone use it as disguise for sacrifice but actual compromise is a thing, positive one. Don't get me started on how she wants to keep 'winning' when she basically imposed him with her proposal and give sad puppy eyes when he thoughts of rejecting the idea 🙄

"it's not you it's me" kind of moment for me, the book is great but my mood that suit this book keep come and goes so it took me longer than it should to finish the book and it's not the book fault.

Holy moly I didn't know this book will be sauna-y, the chemistry they have is off the chart and boy it's HOT. Not only that but they also care and respect each other, perfect mix.
