I was listening to it and though the writing was beautiful it should not have been read by the author.

The narration was god awful by the writer

Very good. And explains Hamish’s drinking. Much improvement over the last prequel!

Best ending I’ve read in awhile!

This was the best book I have read in a long time. Discourse on memory and life and transformation and determination. The prose is clear and specific while providing a way of understanding how we all make our way through life trying to understand ourselves what we remember and how we remember it.

Twisty but o guessed the culprit!

In writing seminars we are told to show don’t tell. This book is all tell which shows. Interesting. I guess you can do whatever when you’ve pocketed a Pulitzer.

Fun fun fun

It just wasn’t for me. Quit a few hours on. Nothing wrong with writing the story just don’t grab me.

Really well told story. The narration of the audiobook was excellent. Gators are everywhere. After stormy flooding where I grew up in sarasota, we’d have to watch for them in the street. This is the story of a FWC sting of poachers for gators and turtles and other wildlife. Entertaining and edifying.

This narrator is making me crazy with mispronunciation. co-IT-us. Really???? No one in the studio knew this is "coitus" is COY-tus? ORRRRR PIN-ee-al. Penile. OMG this hurts. I'm going to try to finish listening but....

Had to take it back to the library before finishing!
