I keep on being surprised at its pacing, despite it feeling entirely appropriate. (Also just now rhe Tom scene was kind of moving 🥺)

A lot about the Roman gods so far… 😅 it’s clear that this was enough of an issue at the time that he wanted to provide a decisive blow to any suppositions that defend multiplicity as the source of goodness. In other words, a Matt 12:25 sort of thing (as far as I understand it). I get more appreciation for the succinctness the Bible provides as time goes on
