Ms. Cole captivated me with the characters in this book. None were perfect and some were even criminal but they all had me rooting for them. This was a great mom read just for that reason. But there were so many other reasons. The setting was Russia for the most part, the love scenes were heart-stopping, and there was even humor sprinkled in to an otherwise dramatic story. My advice: read this series!
