It’s okay, not gripping me with the storyline.

The book so far feels like it’s stretching for content. It’s not grabbing my interest anymore, the reunions of characters feels empty and like a grab for nostalgia to keep things interesting. I feel like this the author should have written Wrens story in one book and that would have been satisfactory.

I think the author is catering to her previous successful books demographic, wattpad readers under the age of 21 who may not be literarily educated.

Currently, it’s terrible.
It feels like I’m reading a teenage wattpad story with the most basic, repetitive, cringe descriptions. The main characters inner dialogue just seems to switch and she appears to me as a plain character with the author attempting to give her depth and a tragic backstory but it just being a complete miss.

This is a terrible book. The fmc is poorly written, doesn’t have a backbone, an attempt to make her unique and interesting has failed. In addition to the attempt to make the book unique, it flops hard. It’s an amalgamation of multiple other stories with minimal explanations, everything surface level, stories and scenes that jump without context or explanation and that don’t make sense.
