i feel somewhat conflicted. it is easy to say 'frugality can be really fun!' if frugality is a choice, and not something you're forced into by circumstance. despite frugality being the whole point of this book, i also want to scream 'know your priviledge!' at the authors.

on the other hand, i agree with a lot of what the authors say, and i think everyone can learn something from this book.

So i kinda gave up on reading it months ago. not because i dont like it! its just getting really tough to get through. the pacing really slowed down and now i cant pay attention. the writing style can be tedious. So now im waiting for audible to give me 1 audiobook credit so i can listen to it instead. im not giving up on Dune just yet! i am genuinely very intrigued by its universe and characters.
