So far, the book has been really engaging and thought-provoking. It reminds me a lot of the Gabby Petito case—especially in the way it explores the dynamics of a young couple, the tension beneath the surface, and how things can unravel behind closed doors. The emotional complexity and the media attention surrounding the story also feel very similar, which makes it all the more compelling to read.
