A wild and entertaining reframing of an event that surely radically changed and guided the author's life. Vonnegut is a master of conveying profound truths through dark, rye humor and the aesthetic of casual sci-fi. This book is a must read.

A smartly written, insightful book that is both funny and timely no matter when you're reading it.

Incredibly interesting premise that was very well executed. Dips it's toes into a number of genres including, but not limited to: romance, light sci-fi, drama, and on and on. Balancing disparate elements as such is a difficult task, but Haig does so in exemplary fashion. This is certainly well helped by having a strong and well written main character who is, more than anything, an undeniably empathetic figure.
