Celaena getting into some deep lore. I’m on the edge of my seat. She spoke woth baba yellowlegs and got info about wyrdgates and keys. Verrry interesting and spooky. Given that the king already has this knowledge and is using it for evil.

Chaol betrayed celaena by not telling her there is threats to Nehemiah’s life. Nehemiah was killed. Celaena is not even looking at chaol. She tried to kill chaol but Dorian stopped her with magic?

Chaol and celaena danced together and Dorian finally is letting himself get over celaena. Actually I think he may have a crush on Nahemia. Which tbh is kinda adorable now that I think of it. Chaol is such a good friend to celaena. And celaena is a great friend to chaol as well. I kinda love their lil group rn. Roland is still sketch but could possibly have some potential. Idk the ring is sudsing me out though.

Nahemia knows that Calaena hasn’t been dispatching the kings list. She’s the only one who knows besides the peoples on the list that she has let live:

Celaena is picking up on something suspicious about Dorians cousin. Chaol and Celaena are going strong staying friends, staying out of anything more. Celaena has a mission with her old friend to “dispatch” him, from the king.

Ms. Celaena is playing a scary game currently. She is the kings champion and should be killing whoever he says but she’s been letting the targets get away alive. Giving them another chance (yes Queen) but also I’m kinda scared for my girl bc the king is effing scary. He a biatch fr. But Dorian and chaol and nahemea are still our peeps. Even though Dorian kinda sketches me out now.

Omg omg omg. Cain is a effing demon summoner literally insane. Caltain is still a messy b*tch. Nahemia is that girl and give miss princess sweetheart vibes. Calaena I’m pretty sure is falling for Dorian and Chaol. HOWEVER, she had more important matters than love on her mind. Cain is freaky af and she’s not so much scared of him as she is scared of the things he can summon. Also the king is hella sus.

Dorian and Ms celaena are bibbbiiinggg and the evil is still unknown I’m thinking it’s the gargoyles but they’ve got to be serving or protecting something that I’m not seeing. Also the king kinda sucks the only person I like from the royal family is Dorian everyone else kinda bitch made.

Dorian and Celaena are getting cloooose and Chaol is giving big brother. Celaena met the old Queen who was part fae and she warned celaena of an evil in the castle

Celaena is getting her strength back and is becoming fond of chaol and the prince Dorian. Dorian and princess nehemia are about to spar bc caleana was their translater lol

This book is getting gooood. Chair kinda a vibe fr. And Dorian is also kinda a vibe I’m fw them. The king is giving bitch vibes annnnd Celina is giving crazy psycho killer vibes but also like I feel like she’s got good reasoning behind it which is kind of crazy to say. I just need more of her backstory.

They’ve left the salt mines and celaena is getting a chance to speak with the captain of the royal guard as well as the prince.. somewhat hahah

So miss Calaena is going to be Ardarlans assassin for her freedom. Three years of being ardarlans assassin then she will be free. But first she has to win against competitors for the title.

It’s helpful in a sense that my presence is important not only to me but everyone around me. And the same works the other way around. Other people’s presence in my life is so important to me. This is something that I am going to work at every day. I know that as long as my presence is in the now I will make the right choices.

It’s eye opening. I had to listen to this chapter twice. It ties a lot into the first chapter.

Eckhart tells the reader that we are not our thoughts. That we should only witness and listen to our thoughts, but not react mentally. Because this will only feed the thoughts. The state of listening to our thoughts and not reacting can connect us with Being and provide a sense of connectedness. This is called “watching the thinker” this helps create a sense of self outside of our thoughts.

Lucy and Sloane are going to make it 😭😭 so freaking cute. But yea someone set her library on fire and Lucian finally understood the assignment!! He ain’t gonna lose her

Luci and sloney are hitting a rough patch. Lucian is pushing away Sloane because he’s afraid she’ll get hurt. It’s endearing but also like stay and protect her then??

That was a short chapter and I’m glad bc I was sleepy. Sloane got a lawyer for Mary Louise’ case.

Luci and Sloane are having another meet up and Hugo places a tracking device on one of Lucian’s work vehicles.
