The first 500 pages of this book was a little tough with all the characters, but the second 500 pages I'm reading right now has been a breeze. Some of the language Stephen king is using is something I'm really disagreeing with, but I'll let it slide, as its Stephen king's way of showing you HOW messed up Derry is. Im really growing to love these characters, but the story needs to end, so "IT" can end. IYKYK

Reached part 3, AND OH MY GOSH. The way each of the seven kids encountered Pennywise for the first time was TERRIFYING. I feel like a lot of people stay away from this book because it’s “To scary” but I haven’t been Extremely scared to the point where I’ve had to DNF it. (YET) The character work, world building, etc is SO good. I already know the build up to the end of this book will be INSANE. RIP Georgie

honestly I never thought I’d find myself reading this book, but 221 pages in and I’m already invested in it.
Stephen King does this thing thats so phenomenally done when he writes about his characters, and it’s drawing me in.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT?!
I’m not someone who likes to read about scary things as someone who is easily scared, and I never thought I’d read this book but here I am. 😭😭🙏

I’m smelling a 5 star rating…

PRE-READ:

I heard this book gives "Queen of Shadows" and "Kingdom of ash" vibes from the throne of glass series, so I got high hopes for this one!

I also haven't read a book I've rated 5 stars since January, sooooo I'm praying this book delivers

The first half of this book has been a little slow for me, so fingers crossed it gets more fast paced 🤞🤞
