Clutching my pearls…

Everything had been fine just a second before, why would anything be different now?

Not as good as Annihilation so far but I'm expecting it to turn a corner and wow me anytime now.

I had chills for so long reading this that my skin began to hurt. Incredible, moving, thought-provoking.

Just as good as the movie.

Way darker than I was expecting.

Not as stuffy as I imagined it was going to be, but I'm still waiting for some cool fantasy stuff to happen.

Got about halfway through before I realized the story I was on was not short. Not sure if I like long-form Conan as much as the short stories.

Less theological discussions and more cool vaults please.

I’ve been enjoying listening to this over reading it so far. Feels very much like the early political parts of Dune.

This ain’t like the movie yall

It’s giving Silo/Dust and Fallout vibes so far. Pleasantly surprised by it, thought it was going to be much drier and slow than it has been so far.

I’ve completely forgotten the majority of the plot since I read it in grade school, and audibly gasped when the jury turned in their verdict.

Took me this long to realize this one’s a Romantasy.
